Who we are

I'm Joe—husband, father, researcher and treasure hunter.

Buried Expectations started as a YouTube channel documenting what I was finding in the field for other treasure hunting friends who were interested. Now it's grown into a platform where I share research, curate and sell the books I use in my own work, and offer merch for those who want to support what I do.

I'm a Masonic Knight Templar and contributing author to the Knight Templar Magazine. I'm also the youngest member of Bob Brewer's KGC research team, spending a lot of time in the field following leads on Confederate caches and ancient lost symbols.
